In the course of her career, Imma Baumgartner gained broad and diverse experience in the worlds of politics and business. She also built up an extensive collection of business outfits, each one more elegant and subtle than the next. All of which began to bore the lively Tyrolean entrepreneur!

This might well be because Imma – after a longer stay on a farm in Tanzania – was frequently drawn back to Western and Central Africa, where she purchased fabrics, jewellery and other pretty items at local markets – sumptuous messages and reminders from Africa that would become part of her everyday life.

In 2011, Imma founded time4africa and began designing Dirndls and clothing made of African fabrics. A true pioneer, she succeeded thereby in creating a unique look that meets the representative demands of both business and leisure wear alike. Imma’s collections have made time4africa the label of choice for sophisticated style with African flair.
